My order arrived today and I'm extremely pleased with the overcoat. Superb quality as you would expect from Crombie.  It's a  perfect fit and just the job for the cold weather that has now descended upon us. This should help keep the chill out whilst I stand on a windy London Bridge Station every evening waiting for my train! I just wanted to say thank you and let you know that the Harris Tweed jacket, plus fours, and the Holland and Sherry suit have all arrived, despite seemingly unnecessary customs delays and a looming Canada Post strike!  The breeks fit nicely and will be perfect for the next Tweed Ride here, and the Harris Tweed jacket is not only a perfect fit, but is also the perfect replacement for my old beloved Harris Tweed, the lining of which has all but completely disintegrated.  I'm having the sleeves lengthened on the Holland and Sherry suit, and the sleeves on the DAKS DB blazer shortened ( I seem to fall somewhere between 44R and 44L), and as soon as I get them back I will send some photos.  I am now easily the most overdressed person in Vancouver (which, in a city where yoga gear and ball caps prevail, is admittedly not much of an accomplishment!).

I received my  reversible waistcoat yesterday.  Lovely. I must tell you that I love the descriptions you give all the clothes, such as "Rare to find these days, and" wonderful workmanship"  "Delightful cravat". "Renowned Saville  Row tailors ".  Reminds me of Jennifers Diary in Tatler, the lady who used to write it was always using such phrases as "Attended a delightful dinner with the Hon. Mrs. White etc." "Saw her charming garden". If she did not like the host, she would say "Everything was very efficiently organised." Her remarks could ruin some and make others, the leaders of the season. Her real name was Betty Kenard or I think some  name like that. She worked into her 80s. Best regards.
