Vtg Savile Row Bespoke Black/Grey Stripe Suit 42L

The Chaps say: Finest quality heavyweight Worsted suit, bespoke-tailored on Savile Row by N. H. Chapman (Huntsman & Kilgour), dated 1972. 3 button jacket, notch lapel, 2/4 working cuff, twin vents, Bemberg linings. English-cut trousers, curved waistband, notch-back, buttons for braces, twin-pleats 2 rear pockets, plain-finish leg (no turn-up or cuff). Made to last a lifetime!
Condition: GOOD vintage condition - the jacket has some marks to both of the shoulders and to the right of the buttons, the cuff linings are slightly discoloured and there are some tiny holes on the left cuff and between the vents. The trousers have tiny holes along the hem of the left leg, to the top of the rear, 8" above hem and at the top of the right leg, the lining is discoloured and the fastener is worn, see photos.

How to measure yourself
When grading items we use the following naming system:
Mint: An item is as perfect and pristine as when it was originally made and shows no sign of wear (mint condition is rare for vintage clothing).
Immaculate: An item shows only the slightest signs of wear.
Excellent: An item shows typical signs of wear due to occasional use but has no obvious flaws.
Very good: An item is considered wearable but has some obvious flaws (e.g.staining or soiling or loose stitching to lining). Flaws are repairable, so the item can be returned to Excellent condition.
Good: An item is wearable but cannot be returned to Excellent condition even if repairs are made.
Restoration: An item has many significant flaws but its historical value merits an investment.
